BanlanX setup for Fanny Pack 4

These instructions cover the Fanny Pack 4 with BanlanX control described in manual FP4-DE-1.4. That manual lists nebulite.io/basic5. Check your pack’s included instructions first: if they name a different app, follow those instructions.

1. Turn on your pack

1. Open the zip inside the pack.
2. Connect a standard USB power bank to the connector.
3. If the lights stay off, turn them on with the remote or in the app. Also check that the power bank is charged and switched on.

2. Install and connect BanlanX

BanlanX for Android – Google Play
BanlanX for iPhone – App Store. The iPhone app requires iOS 14 or later.

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and open BanlanX. If your phone asks for Bluetooth or Nearby devices access, allow it for BanlanX.
2. On first launch, the manual says you can skip registration by tapping the text at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap + in the top-right corner to add your powered pack.
4. Once connected, choose your pack’s lighting and music settings in the app.

3. Use the remote

• ON / OFF: switch the lights on and off.
• MODE: change the animation; BRI: adjust brightness; SPEED: adjust speed.
• COLOR + / −: change the hue.
• AUTO: cycle through animations automatically.
• MUSIC: select sound-to-light modes.

You can also switch off by unplugging the power bank. If the lights go out during use, check its charge: some power banks switch off automatically when the power draw is low.
