Fabric options: Classic vs. Wavy Fibers

Both fabric types use real fiber optic fabric with parallel fibers and high-power LEDs. Choose the look and feel that fits your style (and what your friends wear – matching fabrics look extra cool together).

Classic Woven Fabric

• 💡 Maximum perceived brightness – Individual fibers are more exposed, making the surface appear very bright.
• ⚠️ More delicate to folds & friction – Fibers sit closer to the surface. Strong folding (not parallel to the fiber direction) or scraping along rough walls can cause permanent bright spots or creases where light leaks out.
• ✨ Sharper, direct glow – Very crisp, intense light look.

Wavy Fibers (soft & machine washable)

• 🎨 Higher contrast look – Groups of 10 fibers are bundled closely together. Bundles glow brighter, while the space between them stays deep black, creating a striking high-contrast pattern.
• 🔆 Slightly lower perceived brightness – In direct comparison to Classic, the overall surface can feel a bit less bright, even though bundles are intense.
• 🧸 Softer touch – A soft mesh sits on top of the fibers. It feels smoother and less scratchy than the Classic fabric, whose thin polyester warp threads can feel a bit rough.
• 🛡️ Better fiber protection – The mesh layer shields the fibers from direct abrasion. Sliding along walls or squeezing through tight club hallways is less likely to create permanent bright spots.
• 📦 No permanent folding creases – When folded, wavy fibers can shift sideways instead of being locked in place, helping prevent fiber damage and irreversible light-leak creases (a risk with Classic if folded under pressure in the wrong direction).

Personal note: The designer prefers Wavy over Classic for comfort and durability. If one variant is sold out, you’re not losing quality by picking the other – just choose the style and texture you like best or match your other NEBULITE gear.

Both sizes share the same premium materials, LEDs, and fabric technology. The difference is capacity and overall look on your body.
